💭 We do so much in our daily lives, that requires a lot from our muscles and joints! Who new just staring down at your phone for hours a day would give you neck pain?
🧘♀️ But the fast pased lifestyle we lead, mean we do adopt bad working postures, push our body’s physically to the limits with high intensity exercise and reward a long week slobbed on the sofa in-front of the tv. AND SO WE SHOULD! But sometimes our bodies need a little TLC and education to prevent those aches and pains of daily life.
🏃♀️ Pilates helps re-educate the body’s muscles to work efficiently, rewards the joints by reversing those bad postures and creating more mobility and flexibility and also helps the mind-body connection to improve body function.
🍑 I teach Pilates so my clients can lead a pain free life as best they can, reducing risk of injury and understanding their body. I don’t want you to stop the things you love, enjoy them to the fullest but just like we can’t eat copious amounts of chocolate without seeing the effects (I wish we could). Is just like we can’t expect our body’s to not get upset when we ask so much of them.
