Achilles tendon problems-
Achilles problems can come in the form of a Complete rupture, partial tear, acute tendinitis or chronic tendinopathy.
Symptoms can include pain above your heel or pain in your calf that could be a sports injury, repetitive strain or biomechanical. They can be difficult to treat and often effect walking and stop you running. If not caused by a sport specific injury, it could be your foot wear? over training? poor posture or weak glutes? Physio can diagnose the problem, refer you to a specialist if required and get you doing the correct exercises for Achilles pain.
